岗位职责：
JobSummaryDrivesmaterialsteamtoachievecontinuousimprovementinkeymaterialsmetrics.Providesexceptionalsupporttocustomers,teammembers,andshareholders.EssentialDuties&ResponsibilitiesChampionstheexecutionanddeploymentofJabil’sstandardplanningandinventorystrategiesandsystemswiththecustomerwherepossible,andimplementcustomizedsolutionswherenecessarywithinalocaloperationssite.Drivesasystematicprocesstoreceive,evaluateandfulfillcustomerdemandacrossthebusinessunit.EnsuresthatanachievableMasterScheduleisinplacetosupportbothcustomerrequirementsandJabilrevenueprojections.IndevelopingasolidMPS,considerationshouldbegiventomaterialsavailability,equipmentcapability/capacityandstaffing.EnsuresthattheMasterProductionScheduleisloadedinalignmentwithcustomercontract(s)andliabilityagreementssothatthematerialsteammaintainsconformancetoJabil’s“RulesoftheRoad.”Developsandsupervisessolidproductlaunchplansfornewbusiness,andtransitionplansforproductsbeingtransferredbetweenJabilmanufacturingsites.Evaluatestheneedforbufferinventoryduringthetransferprocess.EnsurescontinuityofproductsupplytotheJabilmanufacturingsite(s),andoffinishedgoodstothecustomerthroughoutthetransfertimeframe.Overseesthedispositionandtransferofresidualinventorytotheappropriate“receiving”Jabilfactory.Generatesandanalyzesinventoryreportsforinternalbusinessunitand/orcustomeruse.AssiststheBusinessUnitManagementteamasrequiredinevaluatingandrecoveringthecostofexcess/obsoleteinventory.Recommendsprocessandsupplychaininitiativestolowerinventorycosts(hubbing,JIT,optimummanufacturinglotsizes,alternatetransportationmethodologies,etc.).

Education&ExperienceRequirementsBachelor’sdegreeinBusinessAdministration,MaterialsLogisticsManagement,orrelateddiscipline.EquivalentproventrackrecordinanEMSorsimilarenvironment.Threeyearsrelatedexperience.Equivalentcombinationofeducationandexperience.Solidunderstandingofelectronicsmanufacturingandmaterialsmanagementisrequired,aswellasaproventrackrecordinnegotiation,costreductionactivitiesandmaterialsplanning.
