岗位职责：
Performtimely,cost-consciousprocurementofproduction/inventory/MROitems.
Receiveandanalyzerequisitionstodeterminequantity,specificationsanddeliveryrequirements.
Fromapprovedsupplierlist,recommendandselectsupplierstofulfillscheduledplantdeliveries.
Responsiblefortheon-boardingofnewselectedsuppliersrelativetomaterialplanning.
Ensureup-to-dateABCclassificationismaintainedforplanning,andotherkeyinputsintothePFEPprocess
Ensureoptimalinventorylevelsandsafetystockaremaintainedfortheirparts
CoordinatewithQualityAssurancetoresolvequalityissueswithsuppliers.
Maintainproactiveshortageidentificationandmanagement-helpflagrootcauses&correctiveactions.
Identifytotalcostandcashflowopportunitieswithsuppliers.
AnalyzeandselectpartsforKanBanandSupplierreplenishment.
Mayleadanddirectotherstoaccomplishdesiredorganizationalobjectives.
Expeditedeliveriestomeetandexceedscheduledcriticalrequirements.
Maintainmaterialplanatthetimefencetoensurecontinuityofsupply.
Coordinatewithproductionplannersforsolutionswhenpartscannotbedeliveredaspromised.
MaintainandcontinuouslyevaluatesupplierperformanceandescalatetoProcurementwhenissuesoccur.
Resolveinvoicingdiscrepancieswithsuppliersandaccounting.
Analyzematerialandcapacityavailabilitytoprovidecustomerpromisedatesforsalesorders.
Maintainsitemmasterleadtimeinformationbaseduponprocessimprovements,currentconstraints,totalcurrentdemandbyproductfamily,andpriorityinformation.
ManageinternalandSOMI/VMImaterialtomeetschedules.
Interfacewithrequiredfunctionalgroupstoresolvechallengingdeliveryrequirements.
Communicateforecastsandreplenishmentplanstosupplier.
Reviewopenrequirements,monitoringvendorperformanceandexpeditingwherenecessary.Ensurethatproblemsrelatingtodelivery,qualityorpricingarepromptlyconveyedtothesupplierandresolvedinatimelymanner.
Productivity:identifyandimplementcostreduction/productivityprojectstomeetthecorporateinitiatives/goals.Maintainpipelineandfinancialrecordsforreportingandtrackingproductivity.
